Job Title: Trainee Social Auditor

Job Summary:
The Trainee Social Auditor will support senior and lead auditors in conducting social compliance audits based on standards such as SMETA, BSCI, SLCP, WRAP, and SA8000. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates who are graduates and interested in building a career in social compliance, ethical sourcing, and labour standards auditing.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and conducting social compliance audits under the supervision of senior auditors.
Support in evaluating labour practices, working conditions, health & safety, and environmental aspects.
Participate in worker interviews, document reviews, and site observations.
Help prepare draft audit findings, notes, and supporting documentation.
Learn and follow global audit methodologies (SMETA, BSCI, SLCP, WRAP, etc.).
Coordinate with facility management for audit scheduling and document collection.
Maintain ethical behaviour, confidentiality, and integrity as required by social compliance auditing norms.
Continuously develop knowledge of labour laws, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
Qualifications:
Graduate in any stream (Social Sciences, Business, Management, or related areas preferred).
Basic understanding or interest in labour laws, human rights, or social compliance.
Strong communication, observation, and analytical skills.
Ability to travel for audit assignments and work in field environments.
Eagerness to learn and grow into an independent Social Auditor role.
